There are so many, many things that I find very wrong with this book. The thing wasn’t even resolved they won a battle but not the war. These girls see no reason why they shouldn’t be able to be who they want to be, dress the way they want to, live they way they want to, etc.

Gemma’s story is beautifully told and I am glad I had the chance to read it. You will have to read to find out what that means. Over all, this is a fantastic series with a fascinating blend of fantasy and history.
